You see this post and you wonder "Oh, I didn't hear from her for quite a bit actually". Indeed! At a time of the year where everyone is going for sunny destinations, yours truly decided to have a slightly different summer: my boyfriend and me decided to move and try our chances in another country. Boom! More exciting than improving your suntan, right?
Even though I have always found this to be one of the most unsettling part of change, I start to believe this is how you truly measure how much your life is changing: it's not about how many new things you have created but how many you have happily left behind on the way.
In a society where tick boxes and perfection are sold as the norm, we need to accept that accepting our fails and surrender to them is the only way to move forward. It's time we realize that any end is an opportunity for something new.
